This is a pretty killer Mountain Bike Ride for Advanced Riders Only.  It is steep, rocky, and challenging.  You will need to dismount to go over larger rocks many, many times. If you are up to the challenge, the views are the reward.  Riding the ideal sections of the trail through the forest is the other reward.  Start at the Kingsbury Grade and end at Spooner Lake where you will need to be picked up.

This was a very well maintained trail. We started at Spooner and ended on Andria Drive, top of Kingsbury. Most of the hike is in the trees with glimpses of Tahoe until about 4.5 miles in when the vista opens up and you can see all of Lake Tahoe-beautiful! There is no water source on this trail so make sure you bring enough. And if you bring your dog, as we did, make sure they also have enough water. The total mileage ended up around 12.5 miles.
