The Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge in Las Vegas, also known as the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge, was the first concrete-steel composite arch bridge built in the United States, and includes the longest concrete arch in the Western Hemisphere. Opened on October 19, 2010, the bridge provides a crossing of the Colorado River for U.S. Route 93, linking the states of Nevada and Arizona 1,600 feet (490 m) downstream from the Hoover Dam. It is located approximately 30 miles (48 km) southeast of Las Vegas.

Starting from the Nevada side of the road that crosses over the dam is a free roadside parking area that allows you to park while you cross the Mike O'Callaghan and Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge completed in 2010. Easy walk with fantastic views of Hoover Dam. 1905 feet long 880 feet above the Colorado River, the bridge is made of 30,000 cubic yards of concrete and 16,000,000 pounds of steel. An engineering feat, the bridge was completed using the original $240M budget. Spans from each side met in the middle within 9.5mm. Well-planned!

Wow what a view of Hoover Dam from above on the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. The trail goes from the Nevada side of the bridge to the Arizona side. This is another great way to see Hoover Dam.
