Galena Creek Trail is a 4.7 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Reno, Nevada that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and mountain biking and is best used from April until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This trail starts in the Phillip & Annie Callahan Park and continues west through a neighborhood and a golf course. It is more of a walk than a hike. Pure ice at the end , so did not finish But nice neighborhood trail There were less than 10 people on it Good for dogs .
A bit icy at points but most of it is dry and the weather was perfect.
It’s a nice walk along the stream. It’s lined with homes and passes a golf course. Still nice.
Gorgeous trail. Great for dogs and a super easy trail to get into longer distances
Gorgeous. Definitely on the easy side or moderate. But gorgeous and lots of spots for the dogs to play in the creek. Loved it!
Great trail especially if you have dogs. Lots of shade and you consistently see the creek throughout the hike. Will definitely be coming back to this trail.
