Great trail! Starts out easy then gets a bit tough to keep on the trail due to fallen trees and having to scramble over a few rock barriers. Just when you think you’ve reached the end there’s more to explore. Overall, great hike with lots of butterflies and awesome views to enjoy.

Fun trail, pretty easy the first 3/4 of the way. Got a bit lost toward the end. Climbed up a steep hill to the left and onto a ridge overlooking the canyon. Cool view but we had to climb back down to continue. The end is a bit uneventful but if you want to scramble, you can continue past the rockslide. We started about 12:30 on a Monday. Passed a few others on the trail. There wasn’t much shade and the sun was pretty warm. I was 85-90°. There was some shade toward the end.

Would have been a great hike if my friends Aaron and Brandon didn’t crap themselves 1/4 mile to the top of the hike. Definitely did not carry enough Kleenex for this one...

Another great hike, mostly shaded and lots of butterflies along the way. Trail gets much better once you get to the canyon and If you go all the way, there is a slide at the end. We hiked longer than 3 miles, it was about 5 miles round trip all the way to the slide. Here is the video of the hike: https://youtu.be/txTej-D26Fc

I would give this trail a 2 from 1-10 in difficulty. Easy incline going up and very easy to get back down the trail. A lot of tall trees and rocks lining the trail that keep you nice and cool. A beautiful hiking trail. Really the only down side was near the top of the trail head my friend tripped really hard over a rock and hit the ground pretty hard causing him to poop his pants. I felt terrible for him. It was running down his leg and everything so I found some big leaves from some trees near by so he could clean up a little. Other than that, a great hike! alldaysammyray

Good areas of shade. The first part with the incline is a bit tough, worse if it’s hot out. Recommend going earlier. Sad there was no water running through the canyon but still fun. Lots of butterfly’s towards the end of the canyon! Longer trail than what it said...my Apple Watch total was 4.25mi.

Great little hike. Beautiful day. Lots of traffic. Would be a really nice trail if people with their damb dogs would pick up after them when they _ _ _ _ in the middle of the trail.

Nice easy walking trail in the shade for the most part. Popular trail, we passed many people on the way out. There is some nice scrambling to be had at the end.

This is an okay trail. It doesn’t have a very satisfying finish. I thought the flowers were beautiful and the hiking was laid-back.

Very nice and fairly easy trail for beginners. It leads you all way to the spring that's hidden in the heart of the canyon.

Good hike. The beginning was hot and boring but it is worth it to get to the Canyon. It is cool, green and beautiful. It took my family about 3.5 hours as we were hiking with kids.
