Good little workout. à Somebody even replaced the desecrated flag and added a Golden Knights flag. Cool!

Amazing views and not too hard. First time hiking at night and it was gorgeous!!! Saw some scorpions, but they stayed a distance!

Fun hike, some challenges with seeing where the actual trail is. Not too strenuous but still a nice workout. Nice views!

Great quick hike. About an hour and a half up and back. Nice views of the city and mountains.

Did this hike this morning, 2/10/21. Heads up that I was swarmed by a type of bee/hornet and stung multiple times near the top by the flag. I’m guessing I unintentionally stepped on a hive of some sort.

Overall it was a great hike with great views. The trail splits off a few times all going to the same spot, the east side is much better as far as views. It does state easy but there are a few spots that are very rocky and slippery (not for a beginner or a person out of shape). There is very little shade and it does get warm, I would not suggest this in the summer.

This was a great trail with wonderful views of the greater Las Vegas Valley!! ATTENTION: I don’t think the “easy” rating is correct here. Maybe physically it’s not too hard, but it’s a single track trail through rocky terrain with some meaningful elevation. I’d recommend hiking boots or light trekking shoes. I did it in my sneakers, they felt safe, but the soles are too thin and they leave the ankles exposed to sharp rocks along the trail. Otherwise I highly recommend this, especially if you live in Summerlin

Great trail.. Conveniently 5 min from a Starbucks.. BEWARE- if you do buy your girl a coffee for this hike to keep her happy, she might have to poop mid-hike.. we ran into this issue. Sh*t you not. So about halfway, by the second bush.. Watch the F*ck out. Other than that stunning views and can’t beat the American flag at the top.

I am wondering who came to name this point as La Madre Mountain. This is no La Madre Mountain. La Madre Mountain is the highest point in Red Rock, and Like popular Turtlehead Peak, La Madre can be reached from Sandstone Quarry in Red Rocks. La Madre mountain is 8154 ft / 2485 m

Quick easy hike to get away from the city. Nice views of the entire valley. Did not care for the shooting range and the noise it brings. There is no shade, today's sunshine was nice but I would not do this hike in the summer. I doubt I will do this one soon.

We love this trail for a nice evening walk when we don't have a ton of time but need to get out and have a dose of fresh air. The views at the flag are worth going the whole way for. It's a fun roller coaster (up and down and up and down) and never gets boring! It's pretty empty most week days and nice and populated on the weekends.

Nice trail. Good uphill so nice aerobic workout. I was distracted with gun shots From the fun range nearby. No danger but not a nice quiet hike. Good number of people maybe due to holiday.

Super cool trail with a nice soundtrack of gunshots from the nearby gun range, nothing to worry about. There are technically three peaks and after you get to the second there is a pile of rocks, after which you have to make your own trail since it’s not really trafficked. The flag is super damaged as of 12/18 with paint and ripped in half but no matter what people have done to it “our flag was still there.” I want to replace the flag, and if anyone is interested in helping me, let me know
