The hike is about a mile across the flat desert on a very wide and well-defined trail. Well before the mouth of the canyon, when you get to the very first tree, turn 90 degrees to your right and walk about 100ft to reach the hidden waterfall. There is a wide path to the top of the fall. Reaching the base of the waterfall requires some scrambling.

A different Red Rock Canyon, very green and even after this extremely dry Summer there was still some water in the creek. Good hike if you want to see some wildlife, we saw burrows twice and some rare leopard lizards

I would watch out for the top of cacti on the ground. Overall, I would recommend this hike especially in the winter and spring.

Hot hot hot. Bring water. Easy hike for kids. A better hike in fall and spring when the sun isn’t so intense.

Just an OK hike. Eventually found the hidden waterfall. After maybe one mile or so (and well before the ravine), there's a y-shaped fork that's a little hard to see at first. The left branch goes back to the ravine. The right branch goes to the first tree - at the tree, turn 90 degrees to the right, go maybe 20 feet or so, and you'll see it.

Easy hike and nice waterfall in April. When the terrain changes from flat, stay close to the creek on the Right to get to the waterfall

Ok trail. Definitely no shade. Did not get to see the waterfall but could be dried out. Easy trail to follow.

The first part of the hike there is no shade. The “waterfall” is hard to find without the app you would think it’s way back by the mountain but it’s not. We eventually found the waterfall and it was a nice little spot to cool off for a while. Definitely a hike to do in the cooler temperatures because in the heat of summer it would be unbearable

Trail was very nice. Little boring in the beginning, but got better towards the end.

Not worth the time. Many trails go all over the place making it hard to find the way. Very little water coming down. Don't waist your time. I don't know how this got so many reviews?

Nice walk, not too hard but probably unbearable during the summer months: there is no shade until you get to the waterfall or the canyon. A note about the waterfall: it is worth it, but also very easy to miss. Would it kill someone to put a stupid sign up?

Such a good hike for beginners! Beautiful scenery throughout the whole trail and ends at a creek. No shade in the beginning but towards the end, there are beautiful, tall trees everywhere! Great for kids and elderly. Easily marked but towards the end, the trails fork off in a few directions. I used the app the whole time and was able to see the correct way to go.

Nice trail with lots of offshoots as you get toward the end that can be a little confusing. A little scrambling at the top. The waterfall makes it so worth it!
