No shade. I started at 7am and it’s ok, not burning hot. It’s pretty rocky and I had to check my phone to make sure that I am not the right trail. But the fire wave is cool, looks like an art.

This route packs a lot into 5km - highly recommended! The heat (did it in Sept), the sandy and rocky terrain may make it slow going so I’d recommend sturdy shoes and lots of water.

Was it hot? Absolutely. Saw a few animals climbing. Saw one other hiker. Carried enough water. It was beautiful. Loved the hike. Not hard at all.

That was the perfect trail. Maybe because of the shutdown but there were even sections where you barely see people. There was a spot on the white dunes trail and the seven wonders trail that had some small scrambles so recommend being very mobile for this but moderate is an accurate rating.

Stunningly beautiful, by far one of the best views I've seen for such an easy hike. It started out beautiful and it only got more impressive as it went. Fire wave and the seven wonders were the most impressive, although white domes were still pretty cool.

First time in the Valley of Fire. Incredible beauty. Trails are not completely marked, so we used the AllTrails map to stay on the trail. Can’t wait to come back and explore more

Great hike, beautiful scenery. Seven wonders trail is a bit of a scramble so be prepared to climb some rocks. Great views all around.

At least today I'd say this trail was "heavily" not "moderately" trafficked. But a fun, beautiful trail.
