Fire Canyon Overlook is a 0.1 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Overton, Nevada that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

There are wonderful views in every direction from the overlook parking area. But the highlight is definitely the distinctive red and white sandstone formations of Fire Canyon and Silica Dome. The color contrast is striking!

More beautiful vistas to enjoy. Very short hike. About 5 minutes from exiting to re-entering your vehicle, depending on how many pictures you take.

There are wonderful views in every direction from the overlook parking area. But the highlight is definitely the distinctive red and white sandstone formations of Fire Canyon and Silica Dome. The color contrast was striking, even on the mostly overcast day that we visited.
