The Eagles Nest trail is an easy journey, best in the evening or early AM as it is exposed to the sun mid-day. The wildlife in the evening is abundant. May and June bring a variety of blooms paint the trail. Bring a camera to capture butterflies, birds, deer and other furry creatures.

Nice and easy hike. Went around 8 am it was perfect weather, hardly any people. Easy to follow and some very pretty views. Close to the road though which was a bummer but will definitely go back. My dog had a blast ... we saw a bunch of squirrels, beautiful birds and a deer. (Along with all the unknown rustling in the surrounding plants) Plenty of wildlife and birds singing.

Hardly any shade so i would try and go in the morning. Easy and enjoyable hike with hardly any other people, great scenic views at times and pops of color from the wildflowers.

Hardly any shade. Best in the morning. Took 3 hours with a five year old and nine years old. They loved it! Recommend going left on loop. So you are going down on the switch backs.

This trail is off of Fletcher Canyon trail. it winds back and forth up the mountain. There are a few points with gorgeous views overlooking all of the trees. Worth checking out if you hike often.

This trail is off of the Fletcher Canyon trail. It starts with a really enticing steep dirt hill and the rest of the trail is fairly level. It starts to switch back about half way through before looping back around to the start. The trail itself isn't anything special, but the views are amazing! You also get a really nice breeze as it's higher than Fletcher Canyon.
