Nice little loop. I thought it would be boring because it’s not up in the mountains but it was actually really nice to skateboard around the loop this afternoon with my wife and dogs. Not many people out, super nice weather right now. Friendly people and dogs. Would totally go back.

WalkingGreat!

What a lovely walk all the way around! On today's jaunt we saw many Red-Winged Blackbirds and several different types of Raptors, along with Coots and several types of Ducks. We came prepared, but there are many doggie bag stations along the circle route, and many homeowners surrounding the loop (with fenced backyards backed up to the trail) have placed encouraging/inspirational words on different displays (bricks, wood planks, etc.) against their fences to bring a smile to all the pedestrians, and a few have placed water bowls for doggos. This was a Winter walk, but we'll be sure to return in the Spring to see if we can spy any migrating birds and to see new green growth. It was fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon, but as the loop is long (a little over an hour walking speed), there is plenty of space for social distancing. My daughter was really hoping to see a wild horse, and sure enough, she spotted one munching on a resident's lawn :-)

Quick and easy walk. Recommend going at night in December. Many of the houses had Christmas lights up. Bring hot cocoa and the family to enjoy the holiday spirit.

Great walking path in south Reno for kids, elderly folks, handicap accessible, etc. Not much to look at but houses and I’d say there was a good amount of people/dogs. Pretty decent area. Clean.

Nice enough path. It is pretty much surrounded by housing, but it's nice for what it is. Surprisingly few dogs off leash the morning I went.

As others have said, not a hike. Very nice 3 mile walk or run on asphalt path around the wetlands. Went midweek and quite a few dog walkers and strollers, but a nice run just the same

Great 3 mile loop with views of the wetlands and mountains, paved path. Would not consider a hike, it’s a walkway for the residential houses.

Nice paved trail lining a residential area— always looks good and is obviously well taken care of. The wetlands are nice enough, there’s always some wildlife (quails, butterflies, occasionally a bunny). I just don’t like that a very domestic walking/biking path is listed as “hiking.” But I will continue to visit for short runs and ride!
