Lots of up and downs, plant life is very colorful. Deep, rich colors of sand and stone. Lots of shade, but no water nearby except that at Pine Creek.

My favorite trail. It's beautiful, woody, and great exercise. If you're into the botany of the area, walk this trail.

A really nice hike with a lot of flowered cactus
Be aware that the map this trail on here is not accurate. The trail head starts a half mile from pine creek trail head. And it's not well marked. You kinda need to navigate your own way though it.

A nice trail that follows the cliffs instead of following a creek. There were lots of cacti in flower when we followed the trail, very nice.
