Trail definitely requires 4X4 Vehicle. smooth for the fist mile or so, Pretty bumpy after that. Made it in only 14 miles due to the other Vehicle was not 4X4, steep climb was to much. Big Mistake !! trying to attempt the trail. spent hour and a half on the the way back digging out the other truck, finally got it out, thank goodness for heavy duty straps. Will attempt again later on

I’m glad we did it but I doubt we’ll do it again. Rough and rocky but not challenging or enjoyable. I’m grateful that we got to spend the day on a trail. At the end of the trail, when we got to the river, there was a family camping out with a full set up and it’s such a small area it felt like we were intruding.

I did it in a stock Tacoma Trd off road. Very slow going towards the end, make sure to leave early and enjoy the beautiful beach at the end.

Wasn’t difficult, however super rocky. Slow going 5mph max in a Defender. . First shot at a view was the halfway point.

Great trail with a variety of small challenges. The path to the beach area towards the end of the trail will require some rock crawling skill if you want to make it to the end.

This trail is not for the weak, you def need a 4x4 with good clearance, very rocky and intense but fun if you have all day and can take your time getting to the Colorado River. I recommend hiking once you get there to get a spectacular view of the river :-)

Great trail with an awesome reward at the end - the Colorado River. A couple of steep, rocky areas - but in Can Am side by side, no problem. A little over an hour each way. Will definitely do it again. There is plenty of parking at trail head for a truck and trailer. Off line, All Trails map was a huge help!

oct 28-Epic Ride. Need 4x4 .Should have at least 12in of clearance. You need to have some experience for this trail. Very bumpy recommend Tire patch's/ spare Tire, punctured one of ours. nov-20 Took Dirtbikes and a friend it is way harder on a bike that a quad better be experienced.

This ride gets tough (rock crawling style) half way through and then again the last mile down to the water. I went on a 4 seater side by side. Doable but not easy for sure. Long ride as well. Make sure you have all trails app downloaded or have a good GPS. Cell service is spotty. I scraped the bottom of my RZR a couple times. Better to have rock sliders. This trail could be rated as hard or very tough moderate. Most of the ride is 10 MPH tops. Saw some big horn sheep and quail the last two miles of the trail.

Great moderate off-roading, beautiful sight. Annoyingly bumpy on the way in, must air down. Took a Jeep XJ out there with no problems. Download the map for offline!

08/14/2020 It was slow going but well worth it. Took us two hours each way cause of how slow we went, trail was rocky and very bumpy but who goes on a trail for the smooth ride?! I drove my 2013 F-150 4x4 and my trail buddy was in his brand new 2020 Chevy 2500 4x4 custom/gas model in which this was his first 4x4 trail. Both trucks made it fine with the exception of a few scratches on a rim of the Chevy. We saw a handful of big horn sheep and seeing the river coming around the last bend was a sight to see.

This trail was nuts. Super steep boulder sections. Long but the end was worth it. Coming back out was very strenuous and stressful. Don’t forget the way you came in.

We took our Artic Cat Prowler out on this trail and it was very steep and rocky at certain places. I’m surprised people bring their vehicles out and succeed driving this trail. We got to just about the end, about mile 11 and couldn’t get from one trail to another. It was so disappointing because we wanted to get to the water portion of the trail. It was a bit washed out and too narrow and steep to get up. We had to turn around and head back out. Very hot during the summer. Not much shade. Don’t think we will try this trail again.

This trail paid off at the end but it was rough to get here on a Tacoma. We couldn't take the four wheeler cuz of our doggie. The road goes bumpy, rocky, really rocky, sandy and rocky again until you hit the wash. It's a long drive just cuz u gotta go real slow. Once you get there tho it is very nice and secluded. We set up our awning (there's no natural shade) had lunch, and took our dog for a swim.
