Beautiful desert scenery, lots of flora, lizards, birds.. Light scrambling upon reaching the arch. Pass under it and look left to climb up on top

Nice trail for a quick hike. Trail was very easy to follow and there weren't a lot of people on the hike.

Easy and open! Not a lot of people. The end was meh as was the hike but it wasn’t awful. More like a nice walk in the desert.

Nice easy hike. Some scramble towards the end. Not much to see until you get more into the canyon area. The arch was cool. The map ends there but it looks like you can go further if you’d like but there’s a lot of scramble. I was with my dog otherwise I would have checked it out. Saw a snake. Keep your dog on a leash if you take them for this reason. Keep an eye on the ground.

Awesome hike to this natural structure ... Moderate travels some scrambling ... but well worth the time ... keep focused on trail as it may get a bit confusing at some points ... Enjoy

This is a nice short hike to a natural rock arch. We hiked out and had lunch in the cool shady canyon.

Beautiful hike. Easy at first and moderate with scrambling closer to the arch. Views just past the arch are breathtaking and you can see the Eldorado Ghost Town. We forged on about a mile past the arch - hard but fun scrambling. We did it with a six year old. Will do it again soon.

This was a nice one mile hike through the desert. The trailhead isn’t marked but Google Maps got us there with no problems. We parked right at the main road turnoff because the drive up to another small landing where you might park was rocky and we were driving a car. The trail is well maintained, transitioning from desert gravel to large boulders you have to climb over—but it was relatively easy. The arch itself is a nice picture point, with plenty more boulders to climb around and explore if you’re so inclined. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and didn’t see anyone else on the trail. Also, keep an eye out for Bighorn Sheep in the area.

The hike is very beautiful, the first half is arid desert dotted with cacti and lizards abound.. then you slowly descend into a valley that gradually gets more and more narrow until finally you’re facing the Colorado river at a distance standing underneath a pretty massive arch. I would recommend anyone who can handle a two mile hike.

Hard to determine where the trail actually was. Very relaxing as we were really the only ones out in the middle of the desert.

Awesome hike! Must do it. We brought our 8 year old and he loved it. Fun!

The Hike from trailhead to arch took us a little over an hour because of many sidestops along the way to look at geologic formations, and flora and fauna. I went with my three kids (11, 10, 8) and none of the bouldering or dry falls were beyond their abilities. They are experienced campers and hikers so that should not be used as an indicator for taking a novice child out. Some of the dolomite was quite sharp when used as a hand hold going down. We have already agreed to come back again after spring bloom as there is plenty of evidence of a multitude of dormant plant species, butterflies should be abundant as well.
