A pretty intense trail for hikers! Completed in around ~4 hours. Most of the trail is easy and nice, but the middle section is definitely a challenge! There's a small section that's gravel/loose rocks, so be very careful. Also, the heat can be intense, so bring plenty of water (I brought 80 oz, and even I think I needed more haha)

I ran this trail this morning with a friend of mine and it was great. We went early to avoid the heat and finished in about 1.5 hours. It’s a great running trail that includes a few moderate hills but is mostly flat. There are a few technical areas with larger rocks but nothing major. Great views. It’s a fairly narrow trail so you will have to move to the side when mountain bikers are passing by. Definitely recommend for a moderate trail run.

we saw a Mojave rattlesnake near the trail by the tall grass area near Oliver Ranch. we had to turn around and go back. Be careful. Otherwise we love this trail in cooler weather.

I cut the trail short from the suggested route. It’s an enjoyable walk. I arrived very early and saw nobody on the trail.

I only went about 2 miles and then turned around because the heat was too much for my dog. The trail was marked great and easy to follow. I’ll definitely be going back to finish without the dog or earlier before it gets too hot.

Great trail with signs all along the trail and easy to follow. It was closer to 10 miles.

First time riding in the desert so I can"t give it a 5 ("as good as it gets"),but it was a great ride. Excellent desert scenery, good flow, some degree of technical riding amidst some deceptively difficult climbs. I crashed and burned early on my second loop,so I had to walk out, but I will be back!

Had a nice time on this trail. I would say that for the most part, it is a biking trail. You need to keep your eyes and ears open for them. They can sneak up on you. Some nice views of the Red Rock area. Pretty good work out. Bring lots of water, there is no shade to be had.

probably closer to a moderate trail, some hard climbs and difficult rocky areas, but the north part of this trail is awesome, great beginners g drops, worth going back and forth over

Used to love mt. biking this area. Great trails if you can tolerate the heat and the off chance that you crash into something pokey.
