HikingGreat!

Definitely download the map before going. I still ended up taking an unintended route that was much shorter than I planned. Next time I will take a different fork in the road. If you go down to the main trail entrance with the dog waste bag dispenser, you cut off a lot of flat kind of dull hiking through lots of prairie dogs

Trail was poorly marked to say the least, no internet connection so be sure to download the map before you go. There are numerous trail paths the cut through this one and makes it very difficult to stay on course

A great moderate trail. 5 minutes from town. Very scenic with diverse views. Will bring the dogs next time as very pet friendly.

Fun trail - however, it splits into a lot of different smaller trails that go every which way. It’s really popular for mountain bikers and when I went, April 18th 2020, was heavily trafficked.

Fantastic trail...you totally forget you're just minutes from town. Easy to follow if you download the map, otherwise easy to end up on the Pipeline Highline trail.

This is a beautiful trail so close to town! Depending on the day, you may see a few black cows, mountain bikers, trail runners, and dogs with their people.

Amazing spot to hike in Billings! You can drive all the way down the dirt road and park in front of the trail head. Way cooler and prettier than I was expecting! Like other people said, lots of trails and many diff routes. Take a map and water. Plan for extra time in case you get off track, it takes some time to work your way back to the start. I would rate as easy to mostly moderate. Ran into 3-4 other hikers/runners.

Nice trails with multiple break offs. Definitely makes for and enjoyable and peaceful day. My only frustration is that this trail and Highline and Pipeline keep trying to take you on private property even though there is clear signage not to do so.

This is a great in town walk. I would never call it a hard hike, more moderate in my eyes. Many different trails to enjoy that run into each other

Nice and mellow if you want it to be, but can be technical and challenging. Pick good lines and go before it gets hot. Awesome place but easy to spend more time than anticipated.

Great trail with mix of landscapes and views. I couldn't follow it exactly as posted and got lost for about an hour. Went on a weekday and only saw two other parties.

Nice quiet trails. These trails are more for mountain biking but still work great for hiking or running. I would say these are more on the moderate side hiking wise than hard. I’m guessing it’s rated hard for bikers. Beautiful views.
