Whitefish Trail is a 18.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Whitefish, Montana that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Easygoing trail close to town, easy walk for all ages. Trail can lead you into additional trail system for more advanced hiking. Do use caution when on this trail due to bears are almost always active near by.

Great hike and good place to take a dog! Did the 2.6 mile overlook trail of Skyles Lake! Great views and nice trails!

Perfect day! Only one other rider and two ladies walking dogs. The trails were all ours. Mother Nature spoiled us today.
