Nice easy trail run with some great views. Very peaceful early morning run. Lots of shade. First time ever in WhiteFish so I didn’t want to get too crazy.

Very easy trail. Several people with dogs on the trail and ran into some bikers. Skyles Lake overlook was worth the hike. Just beautiful.

We hiked swift creek to smith lake. Relatively little elevation gain so easy with kids. Map says 2.6 each way but my tracker said 6 round trip from the swift creek trailhead. My 2&7 year old kids went swimming in the lake. The area was fairly dry and dusty but the forest sections were nice and cool. Only saw 2 mountain bikers and a handful of other hikers. Excellent trail conditions.

We hiked from Swiftcreek to Smith Lake, which is 2.6 miles each way. Really nice trails and definitely easy enough for kids. Enjoyed the area and the mellow hike.

Did 12 miles today. Good trail. Great view of Lake. Little traffic mainly some mountain bikers but no issues with wide enough trail for passing.

This trail is actually a handful of small trails w/ different trailheads all linked together. It's part of the Whitefish Trail System. It'd be nice if the different loops and trailheads were entered into the system separate in order to track mileage in one area or another. Even just to know where all the access points are, instead of just calling it one big trail.

Easygoing trail close to town, easy walk for all ages. Trail can lead you into additional trail system for more advanced hiking. Do use caution when on this trail due to bears are almost always active near by.
