Nice hike in town for a little exercise. Not much too it otherwise.

It’s a nice walk on a cool day, no shade or cover at all. Really pretty views of Missoula but a pretty boring hike otherwise. You can have dogs off leash and it seems pretty safe. Minimal parking.

Great trail all seasons except summer unless you go early as there is no shade. Excellent views of Missoula and dog friendly.

Safe open trail with great views of Missoula and Rattlesnake. Kid friendly with many people bringing dogs along the trails. Multiple trails in the 106 acres that was dedicated for hiking.

A great place for trail running or walking! I ran Waterworks, then went down from the parking area to Greenough Park and jogged through that area, as well. I would definitely go back! It was a fairly easy run with great views of the city.

Great views of Missoula and a nice challenge with a few uphill climbs.

Awesome trail with great scenery. This trail only took us about an hour and a half round trip!

The views are beautiful and wildflowers are plentiful. It is annoying that there are so many people with out of control dogs off leash who feel entitled to let their dog growl and act aggressively. There are signs warning of dog attacks and asking owners to use leashes. The request was dismissed by everyone we encountered.

Great and easy hike in town to take dogs or get a quick workout. Beautiful views of Missoula, especially in the fall.

Great hike - Not too difficult but a brisk workout :) First trail I did after a year of not hiking, took our little one on my back. It was a perfect way to get back into hiking. beautiful views of Missoula and lots of lovely bitterroot flowers at the top. Lots of people on this trail.

Great little hike with enough folks around to not feel isolated, but not so many to be crowded. Wonderful views of the city. If you go on a sunny day, even a cool one, take water! There's definitely no shade, even on the canyon side.

Nice, quick hike with views of Missoula. Downfall to this hike, you are basically hiking an open field with hills, so there is a lack of shade. This hike is the best on a cool day or towards sundown.

I love this hike, it's so easy to just get out there and see the wonderful views of Missoula and then disappear in to the little Gully on the way out! Assuming you start with the ascent from the trailhead, you get a great "warm up" climbing about 350 ft for the first .5 miles and then it's nice and flat followed by a slight increase of about 120 ft before the decent. I love how quiet it gets down in the gully for the easy 1 mile trek out.

Nice little hike, with a great view of the city! I walked this one late at night, against the glow of city light highly recommended!
