Great trail, friendly people biking, running, walking pets. Was a bit muddy at the beginning, but even backpacking both my kids we still made it through. Beautiful views!

This is an amazing hike! The perfect amount of difficulty for awesome views at the end. It is so so so muddy though, make sure you have hiking boots, rain boots wouldn't work. Totally worth it

Really muddy on the trail. Spikes wouldn’t do much on the icy spots. I’d wait out for a couple of weeks to let the snow melt so the trail isn’t as muddy. It’s beautiful and dry at the summit, though.

Overall, a very nice hike. We did it on 4/5/20 and it was very muddy during certain sections. Spikes wouldn't help, you just have to work your way around the mud or go straight through it. You get past the mud and into some great snow and a bit of elevation gain that is fun. Great views from the top. This trail on here starts at Sourdough Rd, but if you want a bit shorter (and the better part), park where the trail does the massive turn (on Limestone Meadows). Or, you can start from Sourdough, go to the top, then when you get back to the massive turn, can take the paved road Triple Tree Rd back to Sourdough, walk down that for 200 yards and be at your car.

Decided to come back the next day and do the Triple Tree Summit. When climbing up, to the right has more switch backs and is a gradual climb to the top. Taking the left is a more steep, but shorter climb to the top. Great all-round hike with well-snow packed trails. Happy Trails!

Great trail with pretty views of the mountains. Open areas as well as wooded sections. Snow covered, no ice or mud. We only did the first mile section before we turned around which was just right for my 5 year old.

Beautiful trail. If you are not super fit I would rate this as a moderate trail and not easy. Quite a bit of uphill climbing...but worth it once you get to the top. Lots of great views. Really enjoyed this trail!

First hike of our Bozeman visit - a great one when you need to break yourself in and adjust to the altitude. Walking through the chokecherry bushes this time of year is a little unnerving, but we didn’t encounter any wildlife. There are still quite a few wildflowers and you get a beautiful view of Bozeman at the peak.

Well maintained trail with a nice view at the top. It's a mixed use trail so if you're a hiker or trail runner, it's sometimes a narrow single track, so be aware of cyclists. There were still beautiful wildflowers even this late in August since we had a lot of rain this summer. I wish I'd hiked it while all the wild roses were blooming!

Nice hike through a beautiful meadow. Comfortable trail. The view from top didn’t hurt the eyes❤️. The wild flowers were gorgeous along with the huge dandelions!
