A lovely little trail that crisscrosses a creek and is a notable wildflower area Beehive Creek Trail is a nice little trail with interesting sites marked by nature education signs. It is a great trail for learning more about the area and really taking note of one's surroundings. The trail follows Beehive Creek, crossing it at a few points, and has several benches for relaxation along the way. In early summer, wildflowers of various colors and shapes blanket the ground--truly adding to the beauty of this trail.

It was lovely with lots of shade on a hot day. There are about 5 or more trees down that require scrambling over. Some spots are a little wet and muddy but our hiking shoes did fine in it. Lots of moose tracks and droppings along the way. We didn’t see any animals but advise bringing bear spray as we didn’t see anyone else on the trail. Last bridge is rotted and broken so take extra care if you finish out the hike on it.

Marked at trailhead as Summit View Nature Trail. Trail begins on opposite side of parking lot and can be easy to miss. Path continues on further than AllTrails indicates and ends at a gravel road. Has a side path not marked, unfortunately we did not have time to explore it as well. This trail was a lot of fun hiking through a forested canyon. Had three bridges all made similarly; solid one log with the top hewn flat. Used these bridges to cross back and forth over the creek. Third bridge was split but still solid enough to cross. Large variety of colorful wildflowers. All types of animal tracks in the mud. Didn’t see anything larger than a few chipmunks and birds though.

Hiked in early July. Very peaceful hike that follows the creek, opposite of the hike up to Beehive. The parking lot was full but not a single other person was hiking the creek trail. The trail is on private property. The trail was well maintained and has placards with info about the surrounding nature. At points, the trail was very muddy. The mosquitoes were out in force so would not recommend stopping on the trail very long, especially at the muddy parts. All up, a short, beautiful hike with no traffic.

Great hike for kids and dogs. Not heavy with people traffic. Signs are posted as you walk through to learn about your surroundings. The trail head is across from the parking lot.

Nice hike along a creek - didn't see any other hikers the whole time. NOTE: "trailhead" is across the street from the Beehive Basin parking lot and is now marked as the SummitView Nature Trail. Saw tons of moose poop, but no animals. Quite a few trees are down across the trail, but getting over or around them was manageable.
