This is a pretty good workout the first quarter of this trail is a solid climb and the second quarter only eases up a bit. When you get to the top it's another great view of the Clark Fork River and back up the valley you also get a good view of Bull Lake. The lookout was pretty cool a great spot for lunch.

Quite the slog in the loose snow and on steep terrain. Not much trail to follow so had the chance to make one of our own.

Great weather all day; light breeze on top and the lookout was totally encased in windblown snow and ice. A spectacular sight and the views were incredible.

Don't fast before you go on this adventure...you could end up feeling peeked at the end of the day.

Snow shoeing this was exhausting! The views at the top were amazing! Lots of wandering as well since you can't really see the trail with all the snow. Can't wait to go back and do it in the summer!

This was a good solid nonstop up hill hike to the top with some great views of the Clark Fork. The fire lookout is still in pretty good shape well worth the effort.
