day one of our trip to Yellowstone and wanted to stretch the legs and tire the dogs. you can make it as long or as short. nice wide trail. seen a few mountain bikers. it appears you can drive your car to the top because on our hike down a car came down. great hike and pretty views. good for most levels.

Teppee Creek trail is a perfect trail to get your legs under you when you 1st arrive in the Yellowstone area. With an elevation of 4 to 5 hundred feet, it can be a in and back or if you have a shuttle you can link with Daily Creek trail or Buffalo Horn trail to double the distance and enhance the views. Water parallels the creek the 1st 2 miles. Wild flowers, moderate views of valleys and mountains with a chance to exercise your dogs are pluses. Also a moderate backcountry ski trail Dec through March.
