Renova Hot Springs is a 0.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Whitehall, Montana that features hot springs and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from March until October.
Best to visit in fall when the leaves change and the air is turning cold.
Not usually overly populated but is only one official rock walled spring so it might not be the best choice if you don't want to soak in close quarters with strangers.
If you are lucky enough to get it to yourself it is quite a serene experience.
Not a public pool like some "hot springs". Just a spring on the side of the mountain.
Nice little hot springs if it's near your destination. Nothing to go too far out of your way for. You can drive right up to them. Pool gets pretty hot, there was a bucket to add cool water, but that seems to have disappeared. Smells like sulfur, but not bad enough to send you running. It is a beautiful drive down a dirt/gravel road. There is also a firepit nearby so you can build a campfire.
