Easy, fun hike. A few icy spots on some of the switch backs, but nothing to worry too much about. Beautiful views.

This is a great trail. Well marked and the falls are beautiful. We saw a black bear on the way back but he showed no aggression at all.

One word: beautiful. If you’re looking for a workout, this isn’t the right trail, but if you want a nice, short hike with scenery, GO!

There were plenty of inclines, declines, and neat bridges to keep it interesting. You can pretty much stand right next to a beautiful waterfall at the end before you turn back.

I visited March 14, 2019, and though it was covered in packed snow the walk was easy with appropriate snow boots (snow shoes not necessary if you stay on the trail). The falls were frozen and we could walk behind them. See photos. It was amazing. We saw 5 other couples during our hike in and out. Seems to be a popular thing to do, even in the winter.

Fantastic trail, beautiful falls. Well maintained, nothing crazy with the elevation.

My family and I hike here often. It's an easy trail and very enjoyable. Too much traffic for our taste, so we try to hit it during the off seasons. Great views and places to picnic.

Beautiful falls! Beware for those coming from lower elevations or breathing problems, there are some steep areas of the trail. Otherwise, just a nice short walk in the woods. Our friends loved it.

Quick and easy, and really not that far outside of Big Sky. The falls freeze nicely during the winter, so some climb it. I wouldn't recommend it lately as it hasn't frozen very well at the base the last few years.
