Trail follows the creek through a narrow drainage. Trail passes through forest, riparian growth, and burned out areas from a previous fire. From the trailhead follow the narrow gravel road for about 1/2 mile and it will turn into a single track footpath. Continue on for about 2 miles. Towards the end there is a creek to cross but unless the water is up you can get across without getting your feet wet. Follow the path up the hill. This section is steep and the path is heavily eroded. At the top you can continue on to Wagon Mountain Road or turn around and head back to the trailhead.

Good peaceful hike. Didn’t see any other humans. Brush is heavy most of the time and the trial is narrow, berries are out. Be prepared for bears. Trail has water over it in one spot, it’s mucky inside but passable.

Heavy brush. Not very scenic.

A beautiful and peaceful trail. There are some areas where the trail is narrow because someone must have been riding their dirt bike, but it’s still lovely. The end is the steepest part but the views are rewarding. I would recommend this trail to anyone.

Trail is a little more steep in areas due to recent re-dig after the fire. Creek had stopped flowing but standing water made little pond we didn’t cross.
