National Bison Range

National Bison Range West Loop Trail is a 1.8 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Charlo, Montana that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for birding and scenic driving and is best used from May until June. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

wonderful camping spot nearby and if you go at the right time you can see tons of elk doin their thang. Not much of a hike tho, super easy, and the only breathtaking views are the elk but they're great

Incredibly beautiful area with great sights. Unfortunately wasn't able to see any bison... but the experience and vastness and backdrops of the area provided enough glamour in itself.
