Beautiful trail! Lined with wild flowers, some steep sections but not too tough. We didn’t see a single other person on the trail and the views of lake Hebgen are incredible. We were worried about bears so all brought bear spray, but didn’t see any large wildlife. One downfall was there were lots of bugs (mostly flies).

First to Review

Nice trail through forest and meadow to top. Last 1/4 mile pretty steep. Came across two elk in a high meadow. Beautiful vistas in all directions with Hebgen Lake below, the Tetons to the far south, Henry’s range to the Southwest, Gallatin range to the east and peaks of Madison range to the northwest.
