Really nice park and area for a picnic. Super clean bathrooms. If the history is your thing great spot for you. Accessibility: This gravel, rock, asphalt, cement, and grass trail is estimated to range from 1 to 8 feet wide. The slope is estimated to be steep (all 12% grade or less) uphill and down. The most accessible portion of this trail is the roughly quarter mile of paved and mostly gentle (estimated 5% grade or less) around the trailhead and parking area. There are at least 2 designated wheelchair-accessible parking spaces with access aisles at the paved trailhead lot.

Windy and overcast but I loved it. Nice short hike. Good views. Pretty. Not crowded at all.

HikingBugsGreat!

Decent loop with some nice views. Buggy at parts but they weren't too aggressive. The half mile along the road isn't too pleasant due to the traffic and I'd recommend taking the higher parallel road on the hill. The only point of interest on the low road is a small faded pictograph you can skip if you've seen pictographs before

Nice easy family hike. You can see the river and mountains in the distance. Very trafficked - watch out for cactus.

Great day exploring. The trail starts with some great educational historical land landmarks and information boards. We decided to make a longer loop and continue down to the river from the bluffs and explore more. Great area for kids. Be prepared to run into lots of people and dogs, most were friendly.

Fun little trail. It's now paved. We started in Three Forks and wandered around. There is a lot of trail in this area to hike and walk around on. We took our dogs. Family friendly. Easy. More on my blog (https://www.brisul.com/blog/2018/3/26/missouri-headwaters-state-park-three-forks-montana)
