Maurice Creek Trail to Line Creek Plateau is a 4.3 mile point-to-point trail located near Red Lodge, Montana and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from May until October.
You can tell by elevation gain (3200 feet) that is a pretty good hike. Great views on top.
I would say this hike is a moderate uphill climb. Pleasant does not accurately describe the climb, but does describe the views. Snow in early summer makes summiting a challenge.
Beware of Sasquatch.
Nice training hike. Starts at trailhead behind Rock Creek Resort. It's mostly in the trees with no views for several miles. At the top the trail follows huge cairns across the plateau. Great views from that point.
