Nice variety of trails here, some steeper than others. Great views of Flathead Valley from the top. Mature Center at top has nice info and educational programs for all ages. Great 1-2 hour hikes; family friendly; close to town and convenient!

Fantastic variety of trails here for hikers of all levels. We hiked with five children ages 5-8, and they enjoyed it. Recommended if you’re looking for a shorter, 1-2 hour hike.

There’s flatter and more trafficked parts of the trail and also steeper and less trafficked parts. It’s really nice because it’s so varied. Nice overlooks, very gorgeous forest.

We really enjoyed this hike. We ended up hiking in a different way than we intended but we got to the top none the less. There are a lot of intersecting trails with little to no markings. There are plenty of overlooks to enjoy the view of the valley.

Nice hike, but if you want something more challenging, start at the bottom and take the Cliff Trail up. I do that one about 2-3 times throughout the work week and it helps keep me conditioned for bigger hikes on the weekends!

Nice forest setting but no really good views unless you enjoy looking at the city from above. Still, a nice little slice of forest close to town.

Beautiful views at the top. We made the mistake of taking the Lone Pine trail down (easy), then taking a much more difficult trail up (not easy!). Stick to the lone pine path or you’ll probably regret it.

Great moderate, easy access hike. Many secondary trails to vary your route. Side trails provide access to top and neighboring trails.

It’s a nice little trail. My family’s first time hiking and they fell in love with it.

This is a nice, go-to trail that’s close to town. It’s not very taxing at all so accessible to everyone.

Despite the swarms of mosquitos, you can’t ask for a better hike with a baby - my 8 month old loved it! Definitely check it out while in Kalispell :)

Close to home yet this trail takes you away. Nice for early spring hike conditioning. Lots of dog walkers. Great views and wildflowers.
