link lake was exactly what we needed today - an easy but incredibly rewarding hike. The lake itself is just stunning and the fishing was excellent! Slammed cutties all day, some even had decent size to them!

The trail is definitely steep but only for a mile or less. Beautiful lake, scenery and good fishing.

Steep for the first mile. Then you come over the ridge to views of glacier park and the lake below. Good fishing.

Very remote, short and steep. Just when you think you're lost, go another 20 min and you'll almost be to the trail head. The lake is beautiful and the fishing was fantastic. The Rainbow Trout were aggressive and made up for my poor fly technique.
