HikingGreat!

Go here a couple times a week now, fun to hike throughout. Libby has not seen much snow so the trails are all pretty much clear of that.

Beautiful falls, not that crowded but still a popular trail. There’s signage on the highway to help you find it easily. Hiked an extra couple miles beyond the swinging bridge up the mountain on a trail that wasn’t fully maintained. Completed late November. Read online that trains come every 40 minutes or so and was able to watch one pass by

Nice little adventure. A bit out of the way but worth it if in the area. The trail is short and well designated. Its easy, I saw a couple of 2 yr olds with the family doing this. Sure there are some inclines here and there, but certainly doable. Falls/river the flowing very nicely as a Christmas eve present. Only saw 3 parties, so not crowded. Come and enjoy.

The trail is family friendly since it is an easy path to follow and a short walk to see beautiful falls or cross the swing bridge.

The falls are beautiful! Even with views obscured by smoke. :) Tried to bring my dog but she couldn’t get down the stairs, they have pokey metal holes. If you bring a pet they’ll need to be carried down.

Always an amazing trail. Have done it many times. Not difficult at all and has some awe-inspiring views of the falls. Make sure to follow people if they’re going right instead of following the marked trail to the left - you will not regret it! Family fun for everyone. Just be careful, you need to go up and down stairs off the bridge over the railway and the steps have spikes. I would suggest bringing some booties for your 4 legged friends if they cannot be carried. I have not done any of the trails continuing on past the bridge but would love to at some point.

This trail is NOT SUITABLE FOR DOGS unless you can carry your dog down a couple of flights of stairs. They have holes in them with spikes that are just about impossible to avoid. The spikes are there so that the stairs are less slippery in the winter, but they have to be painful on paws! I was also told by a local that there have been a couple incidents of dogs getting their legs stuck in the holes recently. Otherwise it's fantastic!

Nice short hike to the falls and swinging bridge. Not a perfectly smooth trail, but easy enough for all ages. No bugs and mostly shaded up to the riverbank.
