I loved the views! Saw lots of wildflowers and an elk, the road up is rough definitely a jeep, truck of off-road vehicle needed to get the the trail head. Once you're there the hike is easy! Great fishing too, there's a little canoe that stays at the lake

Absolutely beautiful! Some parts are pretty intense but totally worth it.

Nice hike with good fishing. Option to continue along trail to Silver Lake or bush-wack along Huckleberry Creek to Huckleberry, Princes, or Avalanche Lake (none for faint of heart). Have gotten to lake on snowshoes but would not recommend to beginners.
