Hyalite Reservoir Trail is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Bozeman, Montana that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Nice trail, plenty of parking

This is nice walking trail. It is a paved trail so I cannot consider it a hiking trail. It is really nice for families with small children. I enjoyed the walk along with our two dogs.

With a new gravel trail along the shoreline it's an easier hike and for me less enjoyable... it's like hiking a fire road.
