Holland Lake and Falls is a 5.3 kilometer heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Condon, Montana that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

October 18, 2020this is a very walkable narrow Trail even in fresh snow and slush. it had snowed overnight and this morning. but it was 33 degrees when I started and 38 when I finished. Mac and Scooter, the loyal companions, loved it. so did I.

September 5, 2020GREAT trail, the bridge is out so you do walk through a stream and there are some places a little steep. Not too steep for us or our dogs. Worth it to get to the falls!
September 4, 2020The trail had beautiful views of the lake almost the entire time. One view would be better than the next. It was narrow so if it would have been busy, it would have been difficult to walk by others. It wasn’t busy so no issues.
September 3, 2020Great quick trail. The falls were very nice, went on a rainy day with slight drizzle. Trail follows lake and then goes to the bottom of falls.
August 31, 2020August 30, 2020One of my favorite I’ve ever done. Very dog friendly, though narrow at some places. Maybe not “easy” because it’s rocky and has some creek crossings, but the length and elevation is easy. It was pretty empty when I began at 10am and was busier, but not unpleasantly so, heading down.
August 30, 2020August 28, 2020absolutely gorgeous. be mindful of the weather because there's portions of the trail that don't have a lot of shade so it can get pretty hot, but besides that it was great. make sure you climb all the way to the top at the base of the waterfall, it can be a little slippery but totally worth it.
August 22, 2020Didn’t do the trail but drove up to the lake on a Friday afternoon in August and there were only 5-6 people on or near the lake. Great views, make sure to stop!
August 15, 2020The trail was really good! Did this trail in the morning and were lucky enough to have zero bug issues! The falls were in great form and looked beautiful. Really nice short hike!

August 12, 2020August 12, 2020Easy trail, but quite crowded (we hiked it on a Tuesday in August). Upon reaching the falls I found the view across the lake with the mountains in the background much more attractive than the view of the falls!
July 29, 2020Great trail for all ages. Does get steep and rocky towards the end. Brought my dog and she did fine getting all the way up to the waterfall. Bugs didn’t seem to be a problem but we kept moving.
July 26, 2020The short trail out and back is pleasant. The hike is not difficult and a wide range of ages can do this easily. There are a lot of people who use this trail so be prepared to meet families and groups of sometimes 10 or more on the trail as it gets later in the morning and into the afternoon. Fair amount of mosquito activity too so bring spray. We ended up also hiking up trail 415 to its junction with trail 35. This is a great trail and we’re planning on doing it again soon.
