Beautiful easy hike!

I recommend hitching a ride on a motorboat to the end of the reservoir and beginning your hike there. The nine mile lake trail is strenuous, windy and with a lot of loose shale. Make sure to wave when the boats pass you by.

I went into the Bob this way back in April where it snowed on our day and was sunny on our day out. Lots of wildlife is seen such as bald eagles, elk, and mountain sheep. Really easy hike too, mostly flat with some slopes.

This is the reservoir trail to get into the Bob marshall.. its long, no wait... Never ending... hot and dusty! Get ready to be run over by pack trains. Paradise is just beyond. I recommend kayaking and hiking from the end. We did 42 miles. 3 nights. Memorable trip but the reservoir is the worst part. Enjoy!
