Georges Gorge Ski Area Trail is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Whitefish, Montana that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
I hiked Big Mountain in late spring early summer and I found it quite difficult. Great scenery almost the entire way, but couldn't reach the summit due to snow.
This trail is a little bumpy, and lot's of blind corners, you pick up speed really fast even though it isn't that steep. Be moderately cautious as it is next to the main run (caribou) so skiers and snowboarders like to jump in at different spots. It's best in January-February (in my opinion).
