Freezout Lake is a 1.8 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Choteau, Montana and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

You can walk around the several ponds or drive the gravel road. The snow geese migration is an incredible thing to see, even if you're not a birder! In the off-season Freezeout is a nice relaxing place to walk the dog or get in an evening run.
