Elk Park Trail is a 5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Gallatin Gateway, Montana that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.

Open pines and lovely views of the canyon landscape Elk Park Trail is an old logging road that travels through pine stands and has wonderful glimpses of the canyon landscape. This area is frequently traveled by wildlife and is very peaceful. The trail can either be taken alone or connected with Michener Road to create a 6.67 mile loop. It is a great recreational trail for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing.
