Drinking Horse Trail is a 2.2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Bozeman, Montana that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
The trail is great for hiking and normally takes 1-3 hours. The trail is steep, and it is easiest to go counter-clockwise. Great views of Bridger Canyon and the Gallatin Valley.
A nice short but beautiful hike
A fine short trek. Good for an evening walk or to just stretch your legs.
