phenomenal view at the top of the ridge between two national forests. absolutely worth the hike to the ridge.

The first 4 miles are through gently rolling meadows and some forest. If you hike all the way to the sky rim trail, the last two miles are steep but the views are worth it. The out & back is just under 12 miles.
