Great trip and access point into the Lee Metcalf on the Madison Valley side. Access at North Bear Creek TH, with a decent hike up to the lake. Great views and all around good hike. Just scratches the surface of what the Madison valley has to offer.

Didn't get too far until we saw a fresh grizzly track-going to wait until a little later in the summer and try again to make it to the lake....area was beautiful but definitely bear territory, don't go alone and bring bear spray for sure !
