The most beautiful wildflowers! Went up the difficult way and down the easy way with kids. Difficult path up was a workout! We ended up taking a wrong turn onto a shortcut back- very steep narrow rock scramble with kids and a dog- not ideal with kids. Beautiful views & a great workout.

Busy but seemed normal for a Friday afternoon. Gorgeous views with tons of wildflowers!

Two trails to the “M”. We took the easier switchbacks to the left up and the rockier, more direct trail down. Coming down was more difficult due to the steepness and sliding rocks. Nice view of the valley at the top.

This was a great trail for beginners or a quick couple hour hike. It had beautiful scenery and was not too incredibly crowded. I went on a rainy day, so it was pretty muddy. Other than that, it was great. I did the longer trail in 1:30 with an (optional) little detour.

Nice trail, lots of flowers, and great view. Relatively crowded, can be hard to find parking at times. Limited shade, but overall still great! The easy path is easier and what took up, the hard path is very steep, so watch your step!

Great trail but very crowded. Everyone followed trail etiquette nicely and was kind and considerate. Great views of the valley. Take the extra half-mile up from the M itself for better views.

Great trail, shaded in parts and was really windy. Great view from the top. Was steep at times, but not bad if you take it slow.

This was our first time doing the M trail and it was wonderful! A little harder in some spots, but that could be because we aren’t used to elevation changes. We will be back on a clear summer day for sure!

Really fun trail with beautiful views of The Valley and mountains to the south. But snowy/icy/muddy. Walking sticks, better boots, and even steel studs recommended for certain sections this time of year (March)

Well packed snow. Single track. I used traction aids but saw several without. They would probably be a must have for the shortcut back down.
