Can start from either end but the Boothill Cemetery is at the eastern trail head. There is parking at the trail head though you can also park at the Applebees. Yellowstone Kellys trail and grave site is not well marked but is at the top of the rise asfrom the paking lot with a small knob and a marker/obelisk which is not marked but can be seen from the base. You can take either the paved or of scenic drive road along the rimrocks.. You can stop at the rest area just to the east of the airport but you may also continue along the rim as far al you like. You can also drive along the upper (west) section which is airport road. There are several pull offs. The view is great but is especially nice at night.

Nice trail in the spring! Gorgeous views of Billings and a nice sunset watching spot. You gain elevation the first 3/4 mile, but not a rough hike at all.
