Really nice forest hike. When we went first week of October we were the only ones on the trail. When you stop for a moment the silence is deafening and feels so isolated even though it’s not far off the road at all. Fantastic time, totally recommend it.

Beautiful trail-gorgeous forest with stunning views and wildflowers. Great in the summer, as lots of shade on the trail, along with a little creek. Our dogs loved the hike, as their noses were very engaged. Saw deer and elk tracks and lots of chipmunks. Ad we were the only hikers on a Saturday morning-it was so quiet! Loved everything about this hike!

Spectacular trail :-) humbling. Wildflowers, running water, shade coverage, bird activity. Just gorgeous!
