The trail as marked seems to go through private property. One of the owners let us know that the access for the lake is actually 200 yards farther down the main hiway. Once you've exited the hiway, the paved road becomes gravel, and you park before it becomes a 2-wheel trail. There's a short walk to a little rocky beach, with a fire pit. My kids had fun exploring!

Fantastic short 35 minute hike to a small lake. Hiked Nov. 11 and had to self (expected for late in the season). Will return with a tent next summer as there are fantastic views from lake and would like to wander up the attainable peaks right there.

We hiked this short hike this weekend with our four dogs. It climbs uphill and leads to a small lake, the dogs loved it and we had the whole lake to ourselves! We would definitely hike this trail again.
