This trail is very pleasant. It could be listed as easy rather than moderate. Nice path, well marked. However there is just not that much to see. No waterfalls or streams or even any views of the lake. Lovely if you want a pleasant stroll, but disappointing if you want to see stuff!

This trail was gorgeous! If going with kids in the summer, I recommend going early, as it got a bit hot for our 8 year old. Otherwise, no complaints! Our child did great on the advanced trails

Had some pretty muddy sections but could be navigated around for the most part. We did the red loop in a little over an hour so it’s a good trail for a quick hike. We were just a little disappointed that there weren’t any views of the lake. I wouldn’t recommend for groups with kids due to some decent elevation changes and rocky terrain.

Loved this trail! I wouldn’t take my littlest ones because of the mud and crossing the river a few times, but it was so relaxing being next to the water the whole trail.

I didn't like this trail as much as some others. This trail will most likely be muddy year hound. I would also say this trail is safe for all sized dogs.

This trail was more than I expected. Tried to do the blue trail but it was closed for hunting. There were some nice water features after recent rain. Nice shaded trail most of the way. I recommend it, feel it’s easy to moderate.

Not a particularly challenging hike, but well worth the drive. Added bonus, all the other trail systems with connectors. This can make the trail as long as you want. A few creek beds to cross, but with the low water levels it was not a problem to cross over. The entire trail system was excellently marked as well.

Nice little walk on the woods with some pretty little creeks. There wasn't anything spectacular though. The trail was really muddy in a few spots over the last mile. Finished it with my 7 year old and he did well.

Nice walk through the woods with some creek access at spots. It I s a 50 degree day in February. I didn’t get wet on any creek crossings because there were large rocks to step on, but other parts in the trail were very muddy in areas.

Pretty easy trail! Only reason I would rate it moderate would be the Rocky areas, muddy areas, and the many creek crossings. I could see after a hard rain the creek could be a little deep to cross, but the hike along the creek was my favorite part. Clocked a little over 3 miles on the Red Loop. there is a connector trial if you don't want to do the whole thing and there is a connector trail that leads to the blue loop. Also some advanced trails in between the red loop paths, at first I didn't know what these were, these are marked in black, I will do them next time!! Overall, a super easy trail in my opinion! I went counter clockwise, and I'm glad I did!

Nice trail hiked today but definitely good for running. Marked well. Passed 3 runners and 5 bikers everyone used good trail manners. Easy to hike year round- even with snow on the ground this trail should be easy to follow. No snow just a nice December day.

Not an overly challenging course for our family... Actually came closer to 3.5 miles and kids 9 and 12 had no issues. We were disappointed in the lack of “views” and opportunities to see mountains and down into valleys. Kind of a “meh” experience in that way, but a good hike and we had fun. Stopped for lunch midway and completed in just over 2 hours..we are admittedly distractible when we hike.

Did half this trail. I used trail connecter 2 from the blue trail & hiked to the parking lot. The red trail has more traffic & boat noise than the blue or orange trail. If there are views, I missed them. The back half of this trail is woods. Follow the red blaze.

Nice trail. Well maintained. Very shady. Drops down into wet area, lots of mosquitos. Insect repellent is advised. My wife loves wildflowers, and we were there in July. Had to stop often for pictures of flowers. Enjoy.

Enjoyable trail. Clean. Well-marked. Took 55 minutes at a moderate pace. Due to Ozark soul and limestone composition, along with underground water, there will be muddy spots, even if it hadn’t rained in a while. Easily passable.

Went in the morning in late August, lots of spider webs and mosquitoes, be sure to remember bug spray in the summer. Trail was pretty well marked, easy loop. Nothing spectacular, just a nice forest walk, was hoping for a bit more scenic views. Had some dried creek beds, probably has more water in different seasons. Was quiet, didn't see anyone other than in the parking lot. Ok trail but would try to find something with a lake view if we went back again.

What a wonderful place to hike! Water, bluffs, forest, glades-what more could you ask for?? Plus you can connect to other trails!

Visiting Branson we found this good trail system and decided we like it better than the strip, lol. Some nice rock outcroppings and decent fall foliage
