Pretty neat trail. It starts with some elevation and flattens out over time. Trial path is fairly wide and shady. It looks like others use it for horses or ATVs. There were tons of ticks on the trial. Between the 3 of us, there was at least 15 that got on us even with spray. My major issue with trial is that it isn’t well marked. For someone who haven’t been there before, it was confusing at times. It seems like others have had that issue as well. Overall, I would come back again. I still prefer the trails of HaHa over this.

Best trail in Missouri. So many little secret spots to spend the day. No one is ever here. I can’t stop coming back and discovering something new.

Good trail to hike, more like hiking a rocky road than a hiking trail, but still a great place to get some fresh air and exercise!

Great trail. Hidden gem that I did not know existed. It is reviewed as Moderate. If it is moderate, I would call it moderate to easy. The trail is not very well marked. I found myself wondering on to private property by accident. Trail is wide and has easy footing. I did it January and saw a Bald Eagle on the lake. In spring or fall it must really be beautiful. My next adventure there will be a trail run.

First to Review

There are well over 14 miles of trail on the west trail alone. A lot of elevation, which I didn’t expect. This was a good long hike. A lot to see. Quite the challenge I will attempt again soon
