Weldon Spring Loop is made up sections of three different trails. I started at The Mound, a large stone cover mound of radioactive debris from the clean up of a former uranium processing plant. You can learn the history of this area at the visitor center. Start out on the Hamburg trail, which is unused gravel track, that ends at the Katy Trail. Take a left on the Katy and follow for about 4.5 miles to the Busch Greenway on the left. Busch Greenway is a paved trail that will run up along a creek, through a business park and then fields in Busch Wildlife ending back at The Mound.

The flooding has subsided. The full trail is accessible and in good enough condition. There is 1 large tree down across the path.
