Tap Kiln Trail is a 4.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Shell Knob, Missouri that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Tar Kiln is mainly a horse trail, not a lot of foot traffic. It goes from the trail head on Fr. 187 to Table Rock Lake.

Fun trail! Loved the treat of the creek bed at the end! Hiked with nine year old and fourteen year old. Good workout. 5.2 miles total for us.
