I loved this trail! My advice would be to try the many small unlabeled side trails. You’ll be treated to a beautiful canyon view from the stream that passes by, a “tepee” hidden in the woods, and some old building ruins. There are a lot of uphill and downhill portions of the trail, so you’ll get a decent workout. With all the side trails, my son and I covered nearly five miles, going slowly, talking a little over three hours to do so. Lots of friendly dogs on the trail. When we went, all the parking spots appeared to be taken, until we found the gravel parking lot across the road.

Great trail! Pretty stone formations on the trail and look out views near the parking area. Trail is well marked.

Surprisingly well marked trail! Very clear paths. I am impressed. Unfortunately, not a lot of water (was hoping for a stream) but I think this is due to the lack of rain we've been getting. The canyon is beautiful. Very quiet. Maybe passed a dozen people on a Sunday afternoon. Dog friendly. I would suggest taking the trail clockwise (pass the first entrance and go to the next). Parking is usually full but you can find a place. facilities are clean. Peaceful lookout by the parking lot. VERY Friendly and helpful ranger. Mostly shady. Nice on a hot day.

Going along at a good clip, with a few photo stops, we completed it in just under two hours. It was almost all shaded. The canyon is surprisingly big. I’m glad I went when it was dry, the sand may have been slippery otherwise. I’d walk this trail again.

Well-marked and well-maintained trail with beautiful woods and creeks. The ups and downs give a nice workout. This park is impressive.

Nice humid evening hike in early July. Good trail conditions besides some pesky flies. Several rock formations and creeks to enjoy. Enjoy a good post-hike lookout by parking lot.

Great trail! Mostly shaded and well marked. A bit challenging at times but would be good for all levels. A little muddy and buggy but that’s too be expected!

Good hiking trail. well marked, nice variety with the different terrains. Great hike for kids and adults. Several people had dogs on leashes. A little muddy after the rain. Did not see any waterfalls, did see a couple creeks. Nice hiking through the canyon. Definitely bring bug spray and check for ticks when done.

This is a good trail with a variety of terrain. I would not recommend this to someone new to hiking. Going either direction on the loop offers a similar challenge.

This was a nice leisurely trail, it was well kept and marked. The waterfalls weren't running due to the lack of rain recently, however the creeks were still slightly moving. There are lots of good spots at this park to go off trail a little and explore

The canyon is definitely the highlight of the trip. Can take some side routes and explore a bit more of the area. Wasnt much running water on the day we went. Will definitely have to come back!

I truly enjoyed doing this hike. There wasn’t any waterfalls or really any water. Super shaded other than maybe 3 spots and those aren’t that long at all. I would not recommend for kids younger than 5 or so unless going specifically for the water and turning around because it is very steep in places.

It was a great hike, but we came at the wrong time (based on pictures) and didn’t get to see any of the waterfalls- and barely any water. My kids were a little bored.

One of the best trails in the area. Incredible waterfalls and rock formations. Go after a rainy period when the creeks are full. I've done each half of this trail separately-- left side has a fantastic canyon, right side has more small falls. There's a clearing near the parking area with a ton of bird activity.

This as great trail to hike on a hot, sunny day. The trees provide ample shade and there's a nice breeze at the top of the ridges. If you're doing the full trail, go counterclockwise to place the "canyon" in the second half of the trail for a nice payoff. Look for a cutoff path to lead down underneath the shelf. Trail was well marked and a timed seem to be a primitive road.

It was pretty hot so we ended it short at the white connector, but I’ve completed the trail at its full previously and completely recommend it. I would say that if you’re only going to do one half of the trail ( or are unsure) start with the side to the west of the white connector, where you’ll get to walk along the canyon and river. It was muddy so I wore my boots but I had considered wearing chacos and am glad I didn’t. If you’re planning on stopping and sitting for a snack, be prepared to wait a while as there aren’t many great sitting rocks but luckily the hike isn’t so difficult that breaks felt necessary :)

Nice moderate trail. It is a bit confusing & easy to get off path. Keep this map going & go on a busy day to chat with other hikers so you stay on path. The views are spectacular.

Don Robinson has some great views. This is one of our favorite places to hike. There are a couple of trails off the main one that will lead you down into the canyon, or out to a bluff. This trail is a must do. Lots of rock formations, water areas, creeks, up hill and down. It is not easy but worth it.
